The Mohawk Valley Beekeepers Club was started by Dean Haskin, a local professional beekeeper. 

He was asked by fellow beekeepers to start a club that would be a source of information and experienced knowledge on the many facets of raising healthy and productive bees.

The first meeting took place in August 2019. 

We have since continued meeting regularly on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm at the Cornell Cooperative Extension, 173 South Grand Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043. Our history continues to grow as we gain new experiences and expand our membership.
